1. The importance of screening.

2. Who should be screened?
   • People aged 35 years and over should be checked every 1-3 years.

   • People with high blood pressure, abnormal blood lipids, or who have had gestational diabetes.
3. Screening method.
   • Fasting Blood Sugar (FBS) test: Fast for 8 hours before the test.
   • The HbA1c test does not require fasting and shows the average blood sugar level over the past 2-3 months.
   • An oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT) is performed in people with FBS or HbA1c values ​​in the high-risk range.
