» Breast cancer screening for women (general public aged 25 years and over)
- Check your breasts yourself regularly.
- See a doctor for a breast exam every 1-3 years.
» Age 40 years and above.
- Get a mammogram every year.
» Risk group.
- Those who have had breast cancer, have had LCIS breast tissue detected, have had radiation to the chest area before the age of 30, have a family history of breast cancer or hereditary breast or ovarian cancer.
- Start getting mammograms at age 30.
- See a doctor for a physical examination every 6-12 months.
- Get an MRI or electromagnetic wave test as well.
» Cervical cancer.
- Age 21-29 years (Pap test every 3 years)
- Age 30-65 years (Pap test every 3 years and HPV test every 5 years)
